The Great Tribulation. ;)

Sunday, November 12th, 2006

3 more days to the pembukaan rasmi Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia.

Well, I ain’t gonna be putting up the whole schedule here (if you haven’t memorized it by NOW I’m also at a loss for words). All I’ll say is :

To those not sitting for the SPM, but are having their holiday now, please pray for these soldiers who are about to face the battle of their lives.

To those sitting for the SPM, we’ll be praying for you. ;P

Short and sweet well wishes, aye? Lol.

The Hall of Fame

Today, the Grammys, Oscars, and the Emmys all in one in SMKJA’s Prize-giving Day! So of course, since this is such an important event, I’ll treat you guys to a special edition of photos and words. Enjoy!

By the way, look at that stunning Colgate smile of Mr Jasni’s. =P

Anyway, let’s move on to the speeches. I’ll say nothing about them, except for the fact that Mdm Fong broke her very own record! 10 minutes this time! Mr James Bong also spoke for 10 minutes, considering that whatever he had to say had already been mentioned by Mdm Fong. The V.I.P Dato’ Yong Khoon Seng (Setiausaha Parlimen Kementerian Kerja Raya) also spoke for 10 minutes tops. What a surprising, pleasant coincidence. Superfluous adjectives, obviously. Hehe.

Undilah saya for a better future. X!

Like I said, all people need is a little encouragement to shorten the length of their speeches. =P

Okay, here’s one of the students who did SMKJA proud :

Midfielder Of The Year Award

Yeap, our very own Jackson Lee with his Midfielder Of The Year Best Subject for PJK Award.

And the highlight of the day - the actual prize-giving itself. Here you can see the substitutes in case Zinedine Zidane/Cristiano Ronaldo/Wayne Rooney accidentally stubbed their toe while walking down the red carpet aisle.

If that still isn’t enough for you guys, here’s a picture of the hottest chick in the auditorium.

Prizegiving_day_chicks

THE HOTTEST CHICK.

Oh wait, here’s another.

Prizegiving_day_km

THE REAL HOT CHICK. He does resemble the Domestic Fowl Edition of Tom Cruise, if only slightly. ;P

Okay enough crapping for now. XD

The last days.

Arangnites, the countdown towards the year-end 7-monthweek-long holiday has officially begun, with a mere 2 1/2 days to go. Yes, some of you have already self-declared that the holidays are here, but I’m talking about the official thing. XD

Anyway, here’s the itinerary for the remaining 2 days:

9/11/2006

Prize-giving day in Dewan MBKS

If you happened to be absent (and were supposed to be present) during rehearsal today, there are certain things you have to know about, like your seat number, for instance. This year’s prize-giving ceremony will involve a lot of moving around and changing seats for different prizes, so make sure you know where you’re supposed to sit if you are getting more than one prize.

Not to mention prize-handling etiquette : Always use both hands to receive the prize, say thank you after that, and remember to smile. ;)

Reminder: Those of you taking the bus to Dewan MBKS had better be in school by 6.30am or else. XD

10/11/2006

The last day of school

Members of extra-curricular associations/prefects/class monitors/whoever has some right to claim certificates, today is your big day, so please, show up. =)

After assembly, there will also be the final gotong-royong class clean-up.

And after that? I’ll leave the blanks to speak for themselves. ;P

Nuggets of Wisdom, anyone?

Friday, November 3rd, 2006

I’m trying my best to be polite. XD

But currently, attendance-wise, the school has less than 1/4 of its entire student population in the morning session. Nobody seems to mind though, and discipline problems have been significantly reduced. *hint hint*

Nugget of wisdom here : If you come to school slightly late, say, 7.10 am, you’d probably get caught and filed under the demerit system (if our school does have one).

The key is to come really late, perhaps 8.00am, or not at all if you feel like it. Hehe.

Or if you feel like justifying yourself, you could possibly try to argue and reason your way out of being given demerit points and a looong lecture. Because we care for your welfare, we advise you not to. But just in case, here’s the valid argument : Coming to school late is better than not coming at all!

This post is purely out of boredom and for fun. XD
