The Red Season
Wednesday, January 25th, 2006Blimey! Seems like it was just yesterday we were celebrating the Chinese New Year. Ready or not, the red season is here again!
That said, how’s the spring cleaning going on? Oh that remind’s me, let’s help you prepare for the celebrations shall we? Here’s a list of a few things you might have missed out:
- have you stockpilled enough firecrakers cookies and tidbits for the big day?
- bicycles all set for the neighbourhood visiting spree?
- your chinese new year tunes CD still playable?
- ready to face the music when you show your grandmomma your last term results?
- have you endured the four-hour shopping trip with your mom for new clothes?
- have you switched those ‘Beware of Dogs’ signs on your gate with ‘Welcome the Dog’ signs? ‘cos you know, you don’t usher in the year of the dog with a big fat ‘Beware of Dogs’ sign on your gate right?
