SMK Jalan Arang

Year Two-oh-oh-six brings promise of a new and improved SMK Jalan Arang version. Times have changed and the present situation is a far more fashionable, if not a more smarter one.

Featuring JA’s (Yes, that’s our brandname) spring, summer and autumn collection on the cover of Schools and Schools Inc. Magazine, our totally Un-Nike, Gucci or even Prada attire are sure eye-catchers with a distinctive touch of individuality all to itself. Note the grey necktie sported by both genders, with a blue nametag to match. We’d have to find out if grey is ‘in’ this season or else ask the school authorities the reason for the colour. And for the guys, here’s a bonus addition. You all get limited editions of black belts with a brand logo on the buckle. Pretty neat? Don’t ask me.

Now fashionable attire isn’t the most important thing in the world, as our school has managed to prove. We focus on the equally important, the "accessories" needed in the tedious process of education. Moving on to the side feature, we have a whole new set of exercise books and longbooks.

It’s rather clear how the before and after editions differ in the colour scheme and background. Before. After. I told you, we are so the new generation, and this generation will be the one leaving the school knowing that many changes have taken place during their lifetime. Or something.

Evident, isn’t it, that our little diamond-in-the-making is growing up, coming a long way from 3 years ago when it was still labelled "The Reject School". Ah, the good old days. (Good grief, did I actually say that?!) Make way for the awesome makeovers and stars in the making, for we will go far!

Citizens of SMK Jalan Arang, hang on for year 2006 and be a part of the ‘in’ thing!
